Global Mala Event Peace is Powerful! Celebrate the Yoga Month! September 5th and 19th
| ![]() |
Global Mala with Kathy Sunday 9/19 @ 10-11:30AM
Global Mala Yoga for Peace Project belongs to the global yoga community. This is a seed of a world-wide experiment into the power of meditation in action. The purpose of the Global Mala Yoga for Peace is to unite the global yoga community from every continent, school or approach to form a "mala around the earth" through collective practices based upon the sacred cycle of 108 on Sept. 19th or 20th, Fall Equinox as the yoga world's offering to further the UN International Peace Day. Each Global Mala Yoga for Peace event is dedicated to practice or to practice and seva - service by integrating local action, and raising funds for the organization of choice.
Global Mala was conceived by Shiva Rea as a way to help raise awareness and funding for some of our world's biggest issues. Shiva calls herself the catalyst for this project and that she was in helping to inspire and bring together thousands of people from around the world and 100's of yoga studios to create a HUGE PEACE WAVE and help so many wonderful organizations around the world from AIDS, War, Poverty, Environment, Children, Education and on and on.
Everyone is invited to this event. We all become one powerful community on September 19th for peace. PEACE IS POWERFULL!
May all beings experience the blessing of unconditional happiness! Om Shanti!
Suggested donation $20, but any amount will be accepted

The pace and rhythm of our culture, coupled with life's challenges, can produce a cascade of stress hormones that have many effects on the body. These effects have a negative impact on the immune system leading to an increased risk of disease and emotional imbalance. Come join Lorrie & Brian to learn how to shift from a stress reaction to a relaxation response. This immersion will reset the body's natural rhythm and neurological patterns. By using yoga asana, active and restorative, pranayama, guided meditation and aromatherapy, you will drop into a state of deep relaxation and awareness of the present moment so essential for the body-mind to restore its natural rhythm, balance and joy.
Open to all - accessible to all - no yoga experience necessary.
